Brian & Courtney | Southern Barn Wedding | South Carolina Wedding

This sweet couple is so special to us for so many reasons! I have known Courtney all my life, in fact I was a flower girl at her parents wedding. I met Brian when he was in middle school, so I have known him for a long time as well. Courtney and Brian both have hearts that love the Lord, and that was reflected throughout their whole wedding day! It makes my heart so happy that they found love in each-other!

Moments that made you cry:

[Courtney] My dads little speech to Brian before he gave me away, Brian’s letter to me, and me and dads dance all made me cry!

[Brian] Reading our notes

Favorite series of photographs: [Summer] The first thing that comes to mind, is when the groomsmen threw Brian up in the air. It was a smashing success, so we decided to go for it one more time. We should have just stuck with doing it once, as the groomsmen proceeded to drop Brian! Other then his bum being a little sore, no harm was done.

Top 5 moments: [Brian & Courtney] Getting ready with our best friends, talking to each other and holding hands behind the door before the ceremony, seeing each other for the first time, the worship during our ceremony, and the cake smash

What were you thinking when she walked down the aisle?

[Brian] Oh my gosh!

[Courtney] I was thinking “I can’t believe this is actually happening!” And also “finally!”

Favorite part of this wedding: [Summer]  I really enjoyed every part of this wedding!! I am not sure if I can pick a "favorite part". But if I had to pick, it would probably be the ceremony. Their ceremony was nestled down from the barn next to the tree line. It was a beautiful setting. Brian and Courtney waited to see each other until Courtney and her dad walked down the aisle. I know that is not for every bride and groom, but for some couples it just makes the ceremony that much sweeter. Seeing the emotion on Brian's face when he saw Courtney for the first time, and then watching as Courtney radiated happiness as she walked towards Brian was just the sweetest! There ceremony was full of emotions, from laughter to tears.

Blooper or “oops” moment at your wedding: [Brian & Courtney] Not really, but Brian kept forgetting his vows to repeat which was hilarious! Oh and we couldn’t get his ring on!

Favorite series of photographs: [Brian & Courtney] Some of our favorites are the pictures where Brian was forgetting the vows and we’re both dying laughing!

Describe your wife on your wedding day: [Brian]  Beautiful.

Describe your husband on your wedding day: [Courtney]  I couldn’t wait to see him at the front of the aisle and he looked SO handsome! And a little nervous but mostly handsome.

Favorite moment from this wedding: [Summer]  One of my favorite moments as a photographer was walking into the barn for the first time where their reception was held. We had photographed weddings here in the past so we knew what it looked like. However, Courtney and her family out did themselves. They transformed the barn into a beautiful reception venue! There were flowers hanging from the ceilings, two beautiful vintage chandeliers hung from the ceiling in the middle of the barn, and both entrances were draped with long white curtains. The place settings and flowers were gorgeous!

Best memory from your wedding day: [Brian & Courtney]  The whole day! We can’t even choose a moment!
