This sweet couple met when they were just kids (both eleven years old)! He started to crush on her his senior year of high school, but (according to both of them, it was complicated) and they never really hung out, or talked. It wasn’t until about 2 years later when Heidi was leaving the country to travel to Asia, that Collin stopped by and the two of them ended up talking for hours that he knew he wanted something more, and it just so happened that she did too.

As they both looked back on it, that night before she left was the point at which both of them pretty much knew they were meant for each other. As soon as she got back into the country, they didn’t waste any more time. For their first date, they went kayaking on the lake, and ended up talking again for hours. Not too long after that he took her to the Biltmore House and proposed to her up on top of a hill.
