Braelyn :: South Carolina River Bridal Portraits
If you know Braelyn, you know she is a gem! She is the kind of person that just instantly puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat! I've only known her for a few short months, but being around her, it was easy to see that she is the rock within her relationships in the way that she brings calm and care to the people around her.
I am so happy that Braelyn is now Mrs. Smith because that means we FINALLY get to share her bridal portraits, but it also makes me a little sad because I'm going to miss her and have to figure out more reasons to get her and her sweet family in front of our cameras again!
Braelyn wanted to do her bridal portraits by the river. Now let me just say, river bridal portraits are not for the faint of heart. I mean just think,
really EXPENSIVE WHITE wedding dress + BLACK mud + water + a small hike, Yikes!
Oh, but despite the odds, it was so worth it! It turns out rivers really do make for some killer bridals!
The location we chose was new to Braelyn, and I tried my best to warn her of the conditions (a small hike + climbing down a steep bank) all to be done in her wedding dress! But it didn't seem to faze her in the least.
I, on the other hand, was secretly freaking out. I mean at one point the trail turned really muddy and she wanted to keep going (inside I was cheering, because she is just cool like that, but I was also really nervous).
No worries though, the bride and the dress were not harmed in the taking of these photos.
