As I sit here to write, I do not even know where to start.... guys this is my sister and she is getting married! I am going to warn you, this post may be a little sapper/longer then normal!

We both grew up in a house full of girls (there are 4 of us sisters total) so of course there have been squabbles over the years. However, even though we are all far apart in age, we have done nothing but draw closer in our friendships through the years! Some of y'all may recognize Misty has she has joined in, and we now partner together on a lot of the photo shoots and weddings.

Uhggg... I hate myself for tearing up while I write this (I have always been the emotional sister) but I just have to say that God has blessed her so much in bringing Steven into her life. As an older sister, something that I prayed for was that God would send her someone who would lead as a man of God. I do believe He has answered that prayer!

Steven and Misty have known each other for many years, and for Steven I think it was almost love at first site! They formed a friendship while playing the same soccer team early in their teen years. Steven always pursued Misty, it just took her a little longer to pursue him back :) However, over the past couple of years there relationship has grown and matured and this past October Steven got down on one knee, in the woods, and asked her to marry him. I think that they would both say, that they are excited to be marrying their best friend!

We wanted their pictures to represent their personality and relationship, so after making a stop by the house that Steven recently purchased for them to move into after they are married for a few quick photos, we headed to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains to finish out their adventures engagement session....
