Steven & Misty :: Back Yard Wedding

I am just going to be honest here, I have been dying to post this wedding! However, blog post take time and I am a procrastinator. I am so excited though, because it is done, and I FINALLY get to share it with all of you! But let me warn you, I may have went a little overboard with all the photos!

Can I just say that it honestly felt like God was smiling down on us during their day. There were so many prayers that were answered that day, and everything was simply amazing, and beautiful. God truly blessed them with a day that they will treasure for the rest of their lives.

Misty had dreamed of a back yard wedding that would be nestled in the woods behind our parents house. It proved a little bit of a challenge on how to fit 200+ people in one spot with out cutting down any trees. But with lots of ideas from everyone they were able to hold their romantic, intimate, and meaningful ceremony in the woods. The reception followed in the yard with thousands (no exaggeration there) of twinkling lights over head.

As some of y'all may know, I was not only a sister, and bridesmaid in this wedding but I was also the photographer. Playing double roles in a wedding was a first for me. However, I could not imagine it any other way. Being able to do this for my sister and now, brother in law was so very special. I could not have done it with out the help from my very talented cousin, Gabe and his wife, Marley! Seriously, they were so amazing and I was able to relax and know that I did not have to be 100 different places at one time because of their help!

There were so many sweet and wonderful people who pitched in to make their day so very special!
