Lauren | Chattooga Belle Farm Bridal Portraits
Getting to spend the evening with Lauren and Jane was one of my favorite parts of this session. They are two of the sweetest people, and I loved getting to chat with them about the upcoming wedding (oh and getting to be the first one to see the dress!!).
And this location was just beautiful! With one of the best views in Oconee County, how could you go wrong!?
I have so many favorites from this session, but I would have to say the photos of Lauren in the peach orchid with her walking towards the camera are my personal favorite. Her dress had so much movement, and it was a windy day, so it blew her dress all around. Her expression in these photos is pure joy, and these photos to me just feel romantic and soft.

Describe yourself in three words
Independent. Smart. Caring.
What is your profession/job?
I believe I have one of the best jobs there is. I get to work at a local upstate hospital as a pediatric nurse caring for some of the sweetest kids during some of the most difficult times.
Describe a Perfect Day
A perfect day to me is spending time relaxing with Michael and our dog Charlie.
Tell us about your dress, from finding it/buying it to when you put it on for this shoot
I was a little worried about finding a dress to be honest since we had right at 3 months to plan our wedding. I went to a few dress shops until I found the perfect one. I found my dress at a cute little dress shop in Downtown Greenville called “The Dressing Room South.”
I had no clue when I picked it off the rack that it would be the one as it was totally different than what I envisioned. As soon as I slipped it on I knew it was the one, it felt like a dream. That day, and every dress fitting from that day on, it was so hard to take the dress back off. I just wanted to wear it forever.
I’m pretty sure most of us have dreamed about our wedding day since we were little girls. Describe your childhood wedding dream
My childhood wedding dream was always to marry the love of my life in a gown that made me feel beautiful with long flowing hair in a country outside setting. I would say I got all this things and more!
What was the best part of your bridal shoot?
I loved how beautiful the setting was for my bridal shoot. It was so much fun going out to Chattooga Belle Farm for the photo shoot with Summer and my mom.
Which photo is your favorite?
My favorite photo is the one where I am looking down over my shoulder and you can see how my dress flows in the wind and there is a gorgeous view of the mountains in the back ground.
