First date story

We went downtown Greenville for ice cream at Spill the Beans and then talked for hours on the Reedy River Bridge!! Funny story: Josh accidentally left his wallet in the car because he was nervous! We ordered ice cream and the lady told us the total, and he realized it! He was getting ready to walk back to the car, and I paid instead (against his wishes)! He is such a gentleman, so he hates that story (because he hates that I paid for our first date), but I think it’s adorable! And I love bringing it up! LOL!!"

We LOVE hosting game nights with all our friends!

First kiss story

We had just left Frankie’s Fun park with another couple for a double date! He had picked me up from work so he took me back to my car in the work parking lot and neither one of us wanted to leave! He finally kissed me in the empty work parking lot! Next thing we know, one of the security guards from the building is walking our way! It was unfortunately our cue to leave! But it was the best first kiss ever!

Favorite character trait

Hannah says it’s so hard to just choose one, but her favorite for Josh is his patience!

Josh’s favorite for Hannah is that she is selfless!

Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?

We would love to buy land and build our dream home and maybe even give our daughter McKinley another sibling! ️

Proposal story

We were going to my Family reunion in West Virginia in July! We had driven 7 hours and my dad asked us to stop at the New River Gorge under-look to let our daughter McKinley see it! When we got there it was pouring rain, and I was just ready to get out of the car! I said we should just go to the hotel and try later (little did I know it was supposed to happen that day)! The morning of the reunion, Josh was adamant about wanting to go do something fun before the reunion, so we decided to go to the bridge. My parents, McKinley (our daughter), and our dog Marvel all went early that morning and hiked down to the under-look! My dad asked for us to get together so he could take a picture of us with the bridge in the background (should’ve been my second clue since my dad never takes pictures willingly lol). During the pictures and video that my dad was taking, Josh pulled out the ring box and got on one knee. When he opened the box the ring actually fell out and neither of us noticed! My mom had to let us know, which then made me start laughing and I couldn’t stop! Poor Josh was so nervous since so many people were watching and my laughing didn’t help! He finally asked, and of course I said yes!! Easiest yes of my life!
