Casey & Devin | Oconee County Foothills Engagement Portraits

These two were so much fun and such great sports! It was a freezing cold January morning (cold, windy, and wet!), but you would never know it looking at these gorgeous pictures! We can’t wait for their wedding in November!

Casey is about to graduate from Anderson with an early childhood education degree! Devin just got out of the army and is about to start college and the national guard.

How they met

Casey: Dev’s cousin kept trying to set us up, but I fought it for awhile! Finally gave in, best decision ever!

How long they’ve known each other

Since middle school

Who said I love you first?

Oh my gosh, ME (Casey)! Dev tries to say he did and I just didn’t hear him (haha)!

What did you do on your first date?

Church youth group “date”! I was “his cousins” guest!

Favorite thing to do together.

Casey: Be lazy (watch the office, cuddle, eat)!

Devin: Watch the office

favorite physical attribute

Casey: I love his blue eyes and dimples!

Devin: I love her eyes but also....butt

First kiss story

Casey: Honesty don’t remember, it’s either at school in the parking lot or in the church parking lot! (Not really romantic)

favorite character trait

Casey: I love his determination! Anything he sets his mind to he will accomplish it or dang try!

Devin: I love that she never gives up!

Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?

Casey: Married to Dev (duh) with at least two kids!

Devin: Casey teaching, living in Townville, two kids!

proposal story

Casey: I had kind of expected him to surprise me from the Army soon, but that was about it! I just thought he would surprise me but did not expect a proposal at all! He got my two roommates (shout-out to Han and Lex) to set up at the Clemson rowing docks with flowers, candles, and pictures of us! As we walked down there I told him we can’t go near there because that looks special and it’s for someone else! He was shaking and I asked why and he just said from the long drive! We walked down there and it all happened so fast! I just sat down on his knee and cried! Best day ever (until the wedding)!
