Deron is a small engine mechanic at Sunbelt Rentals & Sidney is a quality control technician for a biomedical company in Anderson. How they met

We actually meet through a mutual friend that Deron bowls with!

Deron: “Her smile.” (He may have mentioned something else first, but he also definitely said her smile- haha!)

Sidney: “I like his laugh and his warm hugs.”

Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?

Sidney: “In our house with a few more dogs (don’t kill me Deron) and maybe a couple of babies.”

Deron: “I don’t know haha.”

Deron: “I let her pick out her ring and then made her wait a few days…and then while we were on vacation I waited for the right moment to take a knee and try my best to surprise her with the ring that I told her I brought along (after asking her dads permission of course).“

Sidney: “I knew he had bought the ring but he made me wait. I was showing a picture of it to my aunt and he said, “I can just show her when we get to the house,” and then he called my dad and asked in her house. It was just two of us in the house. It was sweet!”
