We had so much fun getting to know this sweet couple a little better during their engagement session. We can’t wait for their wedding in September! Keep scrolling to read more about their story + see our favorites from their session!

Drew works for the Pier at Clemson as a lead technician in the maintenance department. He has been working there for 6 years! Kensleigh is currently a junior (soon to be a senior) at Clemson University. She is a Cardiovascular Leadership major planning to start a career in cardiovascular ultrasound after she graduates in May 2022! She is also getting a Public Health Science at Clemson as well!

Drew & Kensleigh have known each other for six years! They met through a mutual friend during the summer of 2015. Kensleigh had met up with their mutual friend to go to a baseball game that Drew was playing in. The baseball game got rained out, so they all went bowling instead, and that’s when it all began!

Who said I love you first?

We both said it at the same time LOL:)

What did you do on your first date?

We went to the Clemson vs. Wofford game in September of 2015!

Favorite thing to do together...

We love to go to concerts together and travel!

Kensleigh’s favorite thing about Drew is his contagious smile! Drews favorite attribute of Kensleigh are her eyes!

first kiss story

Kensleigh: “We went on a date at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson and had a picnic. We were sitting on the bench when he leaned over and kissed me!”

Favorite character trait

Kensleigh’s favorite character trait about Drew is that he has the kindest heart of anyone she knows! Drew’s favorite thing about Kensleigh is her spunkiness :)

Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?

We see ourselves having a loving home with each other, surrounded by family and friends with some sweet kiddos and dogs to live our lives out with!

proposal story

Kensleigh: “Drew had just got back from traveling for business, and we had decided that we were going to meet some friends at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson to see them take pictures of their sweet baby girl! We were walking throughout the gardens and had stopped at a spot. Drew asked me if I remembered it, and I said no (because it wasn't the spot we had our first kiss at, but he thought it was LOL). He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! He then realized that it was in fact the wrong spot, but that just made it even more memorable!”
