Describe a Perfect Day
When I think of a “perfect day,” all I can imagine is a warm day, and spending it outside either by a pool or on the beach.
Tell us about your dress, from finding it/buying it to when you put it on for this shoot.
We went to Dressing Dreams in Hartwell a few weekends after we got engaged. I thought I had a vision in my head of what I wanted in a dress, and then I walked to where all the dresses were and I had no idea what I really wanted. I knew though what I didn’t want, so we just pulled and grabbed and went from there. It was such a fun experience, and when I put my dress on I was just comfortable in it, and knew it was the one!
I’m pretty sure most of us have dreamed about our wedding day since we were little girls. Describe your childhood wedding dream:
When I was a child I always dreamed of getting married on the beach (I can’t imagine that now, LOL!), it’s funny how our dreams change. I also wanted to get married on our family farm, but when it came down to actually planning the wedding, it was just going to be easier for me and everyone else helping to have it at a venue.
What was the best part of your bridal shoot?
The best part was going to our farm and having pictures taken there. It was sentimental to me because that’s home to me. Since I ended up not getting married there, I wanted to incorporate it some how into my wedding.
Which photos are your favorite?
The veil pictures at our farm. Summer asked if I had any pictures in mind, and literally the only picture I wanted was one with me turned to the side and my veil blowing. She captured my vision perfectly! And with a good helper!
