Where did you get married?

Bella— “On my family’s old homestead.”

Tell us about the moment you seen each other for the first time on your wedding day

Bella— “The moment I saw Cody nothing else mattered, all that mattered was I was becoming his wife.”

Cody— “The moment I saw Bella I couldn’t help but smile, she’s the best thing that has ever walked into my life.”

Bella, Describe your husband on your wedding day

“He was so handsome, he was constantly smiling and I love his smile. Every time I looked at him I was in disbelief that our wedding day had finally come. He’s the most precious, handsome man in the world. He made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. On our wedding day my husband made all my dreams of a life with him come true.”

Cody, Describe your wife on your wedding day

“She was absolutely stunning. She had this glow to her that made it impossible to take your eyes off of her. She took my breath away the moment I looked at her, and I couldn’t help but smile. She could not have looked more beautiful.”

Were there any rituals, traditions, or sentiments that were part of your wedding?

We got our livestock brand made and branded a piece of cowhide as a unity ceremony. The framed hide is now hanging in our home.

Were there any moments that made you cry?

Cody— “No I don’t really cry in those situations, but if I did it would’ve been the moment I saw her walking down the aisle to me.”

Bella— “First look with my daddy, walking down the isle with my daddy, seeing Cody at the other end of the isle, saying vows, mine and my Dads dance, mine and Cody’s dance, my papa & great uncle not being alive to see my wedding, and my bestfriend surprising me and bringing my horse.”

Most weddings never go quite as planned. Was there a blooper or “oops” moment at your wedding?

If there was we weren’t paying attention haha

Is there a story to the song you picked for your first dance?

Bella— “Not really, Cody heard it and said he thought it was perfect, so he had me listen to it, and it immediately made me start crying. It’s just a really sweet, meaningful and personal song to us.
