The moment we seen each other for the first time walking down the aisle was so special for the both of us. All the emotions were high and the moment had finally come. We were both stunned and so excited to start our lives together. It felt real.

Were there any rituals, traditions, or sentiments that were part of your wedding?

We planted a lemon tree as a sign of planting our life together. The first look with our siblings was special.

Mariah— “Mom’s last words and the gift the bridesmaid gave me.”

Evan— “Seeing Mariah walk down the aisle.”

Most weddings never go quite as planned. Was there a blooper or “oops” moment at your wedding?

It happened to be a very hot ceremony and the bridal party got a lot hot!

Is there a story to the song you picked for your first dance?

We had one of our friends recommend the song to us. When she heard the song she thought it would be perfect for our first dance and we loved it !

What was your best memory from your wedding day?

Evan— “Our vows & worship.”

Mariah— “Evan singing :) & running through the lantern send off and as we were leaving seeing the lanterns in the sky.”
