Cory | West Oak High School - Class of 2019
This Senior session with Cory was just so so good! I know we say it all the time, but this really is one of our most favorite senior sessions to date! Our ultimate goal when photographing people is to capture their emotions and passion, and moments that they will look back on in decades to come and be taken right back in time. With seniors, this is especially the case as this is such a monumental time in their lives. In this session, it’s easy to see what Cory is passionate about!

What is your most listened to driving song on your morning drive this year?
My most listened to song is “Yeah” by Joe Nichols
What did you/do you most look forward to your senior year of school, and why?
I look forward to my senior football season because I’ve worked really hard over the past two summers trying to improve to help us win.
When it comes to sports, describe your crosstown rivalry in one (appropriate) word…
Revengeful.
What life lessons have you learned from playing Football?
I’ve learned hard work doesn’t always pay off immediately and your choices affect others a lot more than you realize.
Will you play a sport in college?
Probably intramural sports
Do you plan to go to college? If so, which one?
Yes. Right now my plans are two years at Tri-County and then transfer to Clemson for a business degree.
Throughout all of your years of school, which teacher has inspired you the most?
My guidance counselor, Mrs Freeman
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years, I would like to be working at my dad’s shop or at Yoder’s, while doing real estate sales on the side. I’d like to have a little country farm with some acreage to keep cows and horses and a few dogs.
