Describe yourself in three words:

Bright, Upbeat, and Determined.

What is your job/profession/career?

I've worked with a non profit for the past 7 years. Our goal is to prevent child abuse and neglect through home visiting and counseling services. I also get the privilege of running SMP with my sisters!

Describe a Perfect Day

Wow! This is way harder than I thought it would be! I would say it would need to include the beach with all my favorite people! The beach is one of my favorite places, and I love being surrounded with friends and family! Rain or shine, we always have the best time together!

Tell us about your dress, from finding it/buying it to when you put it on for this shoot.

My experience was a little different then most. My mom is an amazing seamstress, so I knew I wanted her to make it for me if she was wiling. I had an idea in mind of the style I wanted, so we went to try on dresses to make sure I liked what I had in mind. We then visited a fabric store and my mom made all my dress dreams come true! She is so incredibly talented and made the dress in a week and half so I could do my bridal portraits on the coast!

Iā€™m pretty sure most of us have dreamed about our wedding day since we were little girls. Describe your childhood wedding dream:

Well first off, my dress would have been a total princess dress with the biggest Cinderella skirt you could have found! I dreamed of being married in a white church with lots of flowers.

What was the best part of your bridal shoot?

Being able to do them on the coast was so fun! I love the beach, and all that goes with it! Having my mom, sisters, and a few of my friends there was so fun! They made me feel so incredible beautiful, and seeing my mom see me in my dress with my hair and makeup done was really special! Also, that day on the trail back from the beach, Crystal and I totally foraged most of my bouquet for the shoot which was really fun, random, and unplanned! But it turned out so good!

Which photos are your favorite?

Misty did such an awesome job! I love the ones in the road lined with the trees and the Spanish moss, and I love the one on the walkways for the docks.
