How long was your engagement?

We were engaged for seven and a half months! We got engaged on September 6th, 2021, and married on April 30th, 2022.

Tell us about the moment you seen each other for the first time on your wedding day.

It was absolutely amazing! We had both been waiting all day to see each other so it was a moment that definitely calmed both of our nerves!

Abbee, describe your husband on your wedding day.

He was so sweet and handsome! After I finally saw him at the ceremony, I was never nervous because I knew I was marrying the man of my dreams.

Mac, describe your wife on your wedding day.

She was like nothing I had ever seen before, I was absolutely speechless at how beautiful she was.

Were there any rituals, traditions, or sentiments that were part of your wedding?

The only tradition that we did was the father daughter first look. It was very emotional for me as being the only daughter to my parents. That is a moment I will remember for the rest of my life with my dad.

What were the top 5 moments of your wedding day?

Were there any moments that made you cry?

Abbee— “It was definitely the father daughter first look and dance. When I saw my grandparents, and tying my grandfathers cuff from one of his shirts around my bouquet since he could not be with us.”

Most weddings never go quite as planned. Was there a blooper or “oops” moment at your wedding?

The timing of our entrance song to the ceremony got messed up, but honestly in that moment you forget about anything that went wrong because you are so focused on each other! Abbee— “I thought that no one told Mac to turn around when I was at the end of the isle, but in reality he was saying he couldn't because he was emotional.”

Is there a story to the song you picked for your first dance?

The song that we danced to was one that we heard for the first time together right after we officially started dating. It talks about how you are falling like the stars, and that is exactly what happened to us! We fell for each other fast and we will forever keep falling for each other.
