Cole and Hannah met on a mission trip to Charleston, SC where they became best friends. They’ve now known each other for a little over 3 years. Both of them are seniors at Clemson and are planning to go to medical school to become physicians.

“Cole did!”

What did you do on your first date?

“We went to downtown Greenville and walked around.”

Favorite thing to do together

“We love to go out to eat, hike, and hang out with our dog, but our favorite thing is probably going to Clemson sporting events together.”

“My favorite physical attribute about Cole is his smile.“

Do you have a first kiss story?

“Cole’s family was camping, so I went to hang out with them. As far as anyone knew, we were still just friends. Cole and I went for a walk, and he tried to kiss me. I wouldn’t let him because I knew if he kissed me, I’d fall for him.”

Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?

“We see ourselves as physicians in Upstate, SC with lots of dogs!”

proposal story

“Cole and I love the Botanical Gardens. We went to walk there almost every day during the summer. After I got off from my internship after a kind of rough day, he told me we should go walking before my grandma’s birthday dinner. I didn’t really want to, but he told me his brother was bringing Girl (our dog who lived with his parents at the time). I really wanted to see Girl, so I agreed to go. We walked up, and I started loving on Girl. Cole said “oh, what’s that?” I look, and on her collar is my ring. I get really excited. Then, Cole can’t get the ring to come off, so there’s an awkward pause that is just hilarious. His brother captured it all on video!”
